THE INSTANT FEEDBACK OF LIVE ART
One of my greatest pleasures is creating art in front audiences.. I have been able to paint in store fronts, at music festivals, conventions, even busy intersections of metropolitan areas. The live exchange between viewers, musicians, presenters, and the canvas has sculpted me as an artist, and changed some of my creative formulas. I love taking a painting in new directions in front of a crowd and hearing their minds pop with excitement, or painting a large piece with children and witness their anticipation of the next brushstrokes.  It brings a thrill to the living canvas where the painting is not just seen as decoration of space but also as a decoration of time.

“Today, each artist must undertake to invent himself, a life-long act of
creation that constitutes the essential content of the artists work
The meaning of art in our time flows from this function of self-creation.
Art is the laboratory for making new men.”
Harold Rosenberg
